JONATHAN KOHL

Jonathan Kohl spent five years as a litigator practicing in insurance defense and workers’ compensation defense, where he tried and resolved cases involving personal injuries and injuries at work.  Desiring to work more directly with individuals and on a more personal level, he joined the estate planning and administration group, where he works with high net worth individuals and families.

Jon grew up in Deerfield, Illinois and after law school returned to the area with his wife, where they have since started a family.  He is also a member of the Village of Deerfield Volunteer Engagement Committee where he works with other village residents seeking to improve the area.  Jon considers himself an avid sports fan and is a self-described nerd.
